PACE PUTTING

At the time of writing this newsletter it is still wet outside, so here are a couple of exercises that can be done inside the house. No special equipment needed and you can do these 2 exercises on the lounge carpet or in the hall or almost anywhere you have a flat floor

Exercise 1

Take a playing card and lay it on the floor, depending on the room you have available place anything upto 6 balls at 1 foot, 2 foot, 3 foot, 4 foot, 5 foot, 6 foot distance from the playing card.  Then putt each ball to the playing card.  Give yourself 2 points if your ball stops on the playing card and 1 point if it is within 6 inches from the card.  Repeat several times a day trying to accumulate more points each time.

Let us know how you are doing.

Exercise 2

Lay a piece of string (6 foot in length space permitting) take 6 balls and putt along the string to see if your putts go straight, adjust your putting stroke accordingly and continue until 6 balls track the string
